I call this hybrid hollyhock, "Annie's Blush"! It has taken me three years to get it to this wonderful stage. Isn't she beautiful?
We are in desperate need of rain. We have fires burning all over the state and nearby Colorado. It is tragic and this is only the beginning of the fire season. The monsoons are a few weeks away. Perhaps since everything else is three weeks ahead we may get lucky and have the rain start soon.
It has been a most unusual Spring, our area is very verdant even without rain and we have an amazing number of plants that are going to seed early. It may be due to the heat or my theory is the altered tilt of the earth in the last three years. My humble opinion, you may challenge it if you'd like.
